Early access on Android

A lab notebook for your body.

ParseNutrition is a calorie and diet tracker that respects your time. Log a repeat food in two taps, scan any barcode for free, and watch your daily budget adapt to your real weight trend and the workouts you log.

The 1.0.0+40 production candidate uses one clearly labeled Diary banner for eligible free users. Paid and historical lifetime ad-free entitlements suppress it. Core tracking includes search, barcode, recipes, diets and fasting, with optional account backup. AI scans are editable estimates and may require an available offer.

Inside the app

Warm paper, sharp numbers.

No screenshots yet — these panels are drawn in CSS, straight from the design system the app is built with: hairline borders, one rust accent, and every number in monospace.

Your day on one screen: base budget, exercise calories added back, macro rings, meals.
General foods and Store products are separate filters, so “minced meat 5%” is one search away.
The fasting ring counts down 16:8, 5:2, or OMAD windows and can nudge you when the window opens.

What ParseNutrition does

Track the day, not the app.

The whole daily loop — open, log, done — is built to work offline and finish in seconds. The clever parts run quietly underneath.

Generic foods, not just brands

A curated General database covers everyday whole foods and their fat-percentage variants, so you can log plain staples in seconds instead of scrolling through dozens of branded products whose labels may not even be accurate.

Barcode scanning, free forever

Point the camera at any package and ParseNutrition looks it up in Open Food Facts, a community database of over four million products. Scanned items are cached, so re-scans work offline.

Offline-first, sync invisible

Every log is written to your device first. If you choose to sign in, account backup can mirror your diary in the background while local tracking keeps working through dead spots and aeroplane mode.

A budget that adapts

The maintenance engine watches your weight trend against what you actually ate and quietly recalibrates your daily calories, instead of trusting a one-time formula forever.

Workouts give calories back

Log a run, a lifting session, or a walk from the activity library and the day's budget grows to match — extra calories and a protein bump, right in the Today header.

Diets, fasting, and recipes

Presets for keto, vegan, Mediterranean, OMAD and more reshape your macro targets. A fasting timer guards your eating window, and the recipe builder turns ingredients into one-tap logging.

Free core, one Diary banner, optional AI

Core tracking first. Optional extras stay clear.

The 1.0.0+40 production candidate contains Google Mobile Ads and its independent consent flow. Eligible free users may see one labeled banner at the bottom of Diary. Active paid subscriptions and historical lifetime ad-free entitlements suppress ads. Core logging stays available without a purchase. Optional subscription offers appear only when they are active in Google Play.

Free

The full tracker.

  • Unlimited food logging, search, and barcode scans
  • Adaptive calorie budget and macro rings
  • Diet presets, fasting timer, recipes, water
  • Optional account backup and restore
  • One labeled Diary banner; paid entitlements suppress ads

AI

Snap your plate.

Live local price from Google Play

  • Monthly and yearly options when available in your country
  • Meal photos return an editable macro estimate
  • AI recipe and nutrition-label scanning, plus pasted recipe text
  • A monthly scan allowance shown before purchase
  • Price, renewal terms and eligibility come directly from Google Play
  • A trial appears only when the store says your account is eligible

Subscription clarity

When a purchase option is active, Google Play shows the localized price, billing period, availability and any trial terms before you confirm. A purchased AI subscription would renew until cancelled in Google Play; cancelling would keep access through the paid period. AI features require an 18+ confirmation and explicit consent.

Guardrails

Numbers you can trust, limits we respect.

ParseNutrition is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Its targets and estimates are educational, not medical advice — talk to a healthcare professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.

Estimates, clearly labelled

Community food data and AI photo scans are fast estimates, not measurements. Every value is editable, and community-sourced entries are marked so you know what to double-check.

Your data stays yours

Food logs and body metrics live on your device first. Optional account sync is configured for an EU data region. Your health data is not used for ad targeting, and export and deletion controls are available in Settings. Body-fat and FFMI values are informational estimates and do not silently change your calorie or macro targets.

Adults only in this release

The closed-test release is for adults aged 18 and over. Existing under-18 profiles cannot reach tracking or health guidance, while export, account deletion, sign-out, and support/legal access remain available so data rights can still be exercised. AI input also requires separate explicit consent before any submitted photo or pasted recipe text leaves your phone.
